KCA Financial Services, KCA Violates Consumers/Debtors Rights! Geneva Illinois

I was contacted a little over a week ago by KCA Financial Services to collect on a debt that I do, indeed owe. I never disputed the debt at all. My issue is that KCA violated my rights as a consumer, by violating several laws of the FDCPA, FTC, and the FCC. I have contacted this company to settle out of court for the fines, but they refuse to do so. I was told that the phone call was not recorded, when in fact, a supervisor told me that the call was recorded.

I made a complaint with the BBB and the VP Steve Gayheart rebuttaled, calling my unethical. He also used the facts about my debt in his arguement. I am not an unethical person at all, my rights as a consumer were clearly violated. He was also trying to make me look bad by bringing up the debt. I had, at that point, already made arrangments to pay the debt.

I just want people to know and do their homework on the laws (the FDCPA) that collections agencies must follow. KCA violated the law and are refusing to own up and pay for the mistake.
