I wish I had read about Keith Pierson's rip off history before I bought car from them. I bought a 2002 Corolla in June 2003. The car had 23,000 miles on it. For a couple weeks they called every day telling me Keith Pierson asked them to call to make sure I was happy with my purchase.

A few months later I took the car in to have the AC checked. It was not blowing cold air. The service person told me the car had been in an accident and sustained front end damage, resulting in damage to the AC condensor. Then he proceeded to tell me it was not covered under warranty due to the accident (which of course was before I bought the car).

As the advertisements stated, I wrote Keith Pierson a letter. Never talked to him. Someone else called me and said they would fix the car at no cost to me and that they have no way of knowing a car was in an accident unless it shows up on CarFax or the previous owner tells them.

FYI on CarFax.....the only way a car shows up as being in an accident through them is if the Department of Motor Vehicles is notified. This means if the parties settle wihtout making a report to save insurance costs, CarFax is notgiven the information. A good mechanic and an honest one, can tell if a car was in an accident. Repairs are not perfect.

They replaced the condensor and put on my receipt "Good Will Repair" I had already told Keith Pierson I would never buy from him again nor will I recommned anyone to his dealership. Have I received any calls from them since the repair? NO. If you are happy, the keep calling. Once they know that you know they screwed up, you never hear from them again.

Help Me Understand

AUTHOR: Sherridan - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Friday, July 23, 2004

Please help me understand why you are upset with the dealer. Was the damage something that was visible? Did they have to take parts off to find the damage? Do you know for certain that the previous owner informed the dealer of the accident? It seems to me that the car was repaired after an accident and someone did a good job on the repair. Are you leaving some details out? The dealier repaired the car no cost to you.

I usually don't speak up for the dealer but this one leaves me scratching my head. You brought the problem to the attention of the dealer and the dealer made it right. Like I said please help me understand.
