Rip Off by Patricia Milhorn continues...........formerly Kizzpurz cattery, now By Dezign cattery.

I, along with numerous other unfortunates, purchased a kitten from this breeder 2 yrs. ago. After reports of ring-worm, veterinary costs, other pets and family members contracting the disease, she continued to deny that any cat in her posession had this condition. It was then that I happened upon this web-site to find many others had purchased ill kittens from her. Shortly thereafter, her web-site was nowhere to be found, and I felt hopeful that she was permanently out of business.

The most recent report I found here had me concerned. Recently, yet another person purchased a kitten from her that had an eye disease requiring the removal of its eyes. The reports states that the veterinarian noted that this was most likely a result of in-breeding.

The new name of the same cattery is By Dezign. I thought perhaps she had started anew, and that she was now selling healthy kittens. Apparently, not so. I would also note that she has the Cat Fanciers Association logo on her web-site. When I clicked on it, nothing happened. When I went to the CFA web-site independently, I found she is not listed anywhere in their registry. I would have to call this blatant deceit on her part, attempting to indicate to the public that she is part of this association.

Most of all, it is these poor helpless animals that I feel the most pity for. These are the types of animals you get from a pet shop or a back yard breeder. Wishing to avoid the types of problems that can occur from these sources, is why I, and others, went to her. Only to find sick, disease stricken animals.

I can only hope others check into Rip-off reports before they make a purchase from her.
