KitchenAid False Online Sale Claim Advertised Shelton, Connecticut

The KitchenAid website, www.shopkitchenaid.com is currently advertising "25% off all stand mixer attachments" on its homepage. However, not all of the attachments are 25% off and they will not support this error in their advertising.

I clicked through this ad and placed three attachments in my shopping cart. The 25% off never appeared. Before placing my order, I contacted a live chat customer support agent. She said the discount would be taken once I placed my order.

So, I placed my order and the discount was still not taken off. I gave her my order number and told her that I did not receive the discount. She said she couldn't fix it for me and gave me the phone number for customer support.

I called and told them the story. After being on the phone for over an hour, they refuse to correct the error. Even thought the advertisement clearly states that "ALL" attachments are 25% off, they say that only some are on sale and the ones I selected are not. There is nothing they will do about it.

They don't even care that two of their customer service agents said that they should be discounted. They are standing firm that I, the consumer, should have known by looking at their website that only select attachments are actually on sale, despite the fact that the home page says front and center "25% off all stand mixer attachments".
