KLMN Readers Services Inc Magazine Refunds not Processed, No Return Email or Call Chesapeake Virginia

I agreed to subscribe to 2 magazines from 2 individuals vistiing our house on May 7, 2014.  I have the forms they left with the salesslip numbers:  K197940 & K198608.  Gave them 2 checks for the 2 subscriptions--they both cleared the bank. 

After they left I discussed with wife and it seemed suspicious.  We didn't think we would read the magazines so I mailed in the next mail day the duplicate slips like it said in order to claim a refund.  It says they keep $20--that is fine. 

Never got anything from them more than 45 days later so started with an email on June 21st--No reply.  Then left message on phone few days later.  No return call.
