Labor Law Compliance, Institute Company called saying I had to by posters required BY LAW. Miami Lakes, Florida

A woman from this company called me stating that she was from the Labor Law Compliance and OSHA. She told me that I was required BY LAW to hang up certain posters in my office building regarding minimum wage, human resources and sexual harassment posters. She told me that these were required in order to avoid getting in trouble with OSHA. She told me they were $189.99. I was shocked at how much they were and asked, to confirm, if these were, indeed, required by law and she confirmed, YES! So I purchased the posters thinking that I had to have them.

As a new business owner I was not aware of this scam. Once I got the posters a few weeks later, they looked unprofessional and not what I was used to seeing in large businesses. I looked over the invoice and decided to check them out online. Sure enough, they are scamming people and down-right lying. I have filed complaints with the BBB, Attorney General in Missouri and Florida and the Federal Trade Commission. I suggest all other victims do the same.
