Labs4rescue not a rescue group- just wants money!!!!! killingsworth Connecticut

 DO NOT REACH OUT TO THIS COMPANY FOR HELP!!!!!!!

First off, I have to start with a back story- Im a single mom of a toddler that works full time and im very much struggling to make ends meet.... although I make them meet.....barely... im struggling....

I have a almost 5 year old mixed lab that I love dearly and want the best life possible for but unfortunately, I, at this time am not able to give her that- I wanted help finding a home for her that had a yard to run in and owners that would love her as much as I have during the course of her life.....

I live in an apartment and I'm gone from my home for up to 14 hrs a day- NO way for a dog to live.....

so I reach out to this JOKE of a "adoption agency" for purebred and MIXED (remember this later.....) labrador retrievers.....

I email them because they have NO PHONE NUMBERS AND ONLY A PO BOX for contact..... I submit a surrender application and I'm expected to BLINDLY send them a check or money order (ha!!!) for 100.00 for a "submittal fee"

First of all, I have been involved in several rescues myself and although there may be a adoption fee to cover there shots and medical costs as they are all rescues (very understandable!) I have NEVER once heard of a company that will charge me to give up my dog!?!?!?!?!!

As absurd as this sounded, I prepared my submittal form and did everything they said only to wait for a week to hear nothing.....

As this is not a life or death rescue, I was ok with waiting for awhile but I needed to know something so I could make arrangements as these people were located in Connecticut and Im in georgia..... (nobody local to me was accepting any new animals!!!)

so finally, I email them again and say, "Hello??? I sent in a surrender form for my dog?? can I please get a response or some steps on what is needed from me??" and this was my response-

"Im sorry you didnt receive a response, I see here that you notated your dog has some white spots on her? that why you didnt recieve a response..... she wasnt accepted" no notification.....  I had to pull this info out of them.....

SERIOUSLY!?!?!?!?! soooo... go back up top o my post now, they are notated as a purebred and MIXED-LAB rescue group.....

SOME RESCUE GROUP THIS IS!!!!!!! they rather a dog be euthanized in a pound than take it and find a loving home because she has a few white spots on her..... how does that make my wonderful sweet Lola any less valuable than any other lab or mixed lab?!?!?!?!?!

These people are only out to make a quick buck.... I almost sent them the 100.00 surrender fee- THANK GOD I DIDNT- they probably would have kept it and still gave me the same response!!!!!

SCAM ARTISTS!!!!!!! PLEASE DONT ADOPT FROM THESE PEOPLE, THEY DONT CARE ABOUT THE DOGS OR THEIR WELLBEING..... JUST LINING THEIR OWN POCKETS WITH RIDICULOUS "FEES"
