My husband recieved a threatening letter from LADCO for a credit card machine we never ordered. When he called, they said that they would only tell him about his account if he gave his social security number. Being uncomfortable with this request, my husband hung up.

What should we do? They insist that we are past due $34 and request it be paid by July 25th. We have no contract with LADCO. As my husband has cancer and has been out of work for a year, we certainly do not need the product.
