Beware of LAKEVIEW KLOAN FINANCING, BAYVIEW LOAN FINANCING, ETC.

In July I contacted Lakeview as they were suppsoedly the best mrotage company to refinance existing mortgages with M&T Bank.  This process has been bungled ever since I believed thatthe loan officer I spoke with actually knew what he wa stalking about.

It is now December 18th an dthey are still claiming I need to provide additional information to complete the refinance process..

I should mention that critical information and alleged requirements were not discussed as they were supposed to have been, which I guess I should inquire if they violated the law.  they have changed requirements several time so far.

Did I mention the nonsense I had about credit cards?   Although I have an very good / excellent credit rating and have no debt on my credit cards they expected me to cancel cards with available credit of almost $40,000.00?  Gee what effect would that have on my credit rating?

I have  a full time job as well as being an indpendent contractor  as a fire commissioner.  Although I explained I am not an employee they still sent documentation to confirm my employment???  Guess who would have been the person confirming the request?  I have been the treasurer of the Board for 8 or 9 , maybe 10 years.  They were told when I received my stipend and yet still sent the inmformation demanding a response?   It is scary that a mortgage company does not seem to grasp the concept of an "independent contractor". Scary

If you heard of some of the other ludicrous requests you would realize how much I regret this process.

Note: I have refinanced at least 3 times since 1991 so far and this has been the most inept, disorganized and downright idiotic organization and process I have ever had to deal with.

I no wknow why they don't operate as their parent company, Bayview Loan Servicing, as they have appeared in this Ripoff Report on several occasions.  It also is interesting to find out that the companies are not members of the Better Business Bureau.
