LIARS/THIEVES. I'm a small business owner and a farmer..took a commercial policy out with Landmark/Grange insurance of Cincinnati they had Electronic fund transfer (EFT) on my account and they stole a months insurance out of my account ( I pay monthly ..not yearly) when I made a special phone call to Matt DUSING to suspend the coverage for that month..(put in storage, etc). He did not do his job correctly..now I'm the one paying for it.. I work hard for my money and everything I have. These people..MATT DUSING (AGENT). TYLER BETTS son of the President of Landmark repeatly lied to me for months telling me I would receive a refund of 420.00. check is in the mail and so on. Now they won't take my calls..I leave messages they never call me back. I had to send a Email and a text message to tell them to terminate the policy...that's the only way I know of getting in touch with them. I've tried to get in touch with JEFF BETTS (President of landmark insurance agency) but he won't take my calls Either. Cheaper isn't always better, if you have a problem they will not help you. Yesterday on 9/24/14 I tried to call Tyler Betts's cell phone multiple times, he finally answered and told me I had the wrong number..he lied to me..voicemail on his phone plainly states this is TYLER BETTS from LANDMARK INSURANCE AGENCY.

Stating the facts
AUTHOR: Tyler Betts - (USA)
SUBMITTED: Tuesday, October 03, 2017
The client in quesiton here has made some accusatoins that I feel should be addressed as follows:
1. "I requested to have my coverage suspended" - Unfortunately, this is not how insurance works, especially with a trucking operation. You cannot simply suspend coverage because you are not using your vehicle. In this case, the client had US Motor Carrier filings that required him to maintain coverage on the vehicle, regardless if he is driving it or not. If he does not have insurance in place, his valid status with the FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Authority) would be void and he could not operate legally.
2. "they stole a months of insurance out of my account" - When we as the agent signs a client up on automatic monthly withdrawal (EFT) for their insurance, we as the agent do not withdrawal money. This is done by the individual company that the client signed up with. The monthly debits are made in advance, and will only be refunded in the case that the client cancels their insurance. In this case, the client had asked that his coverage be "suspended", which as stated above, was not a possibility. The insurance company had already debited his account for the month, and the only way to refund the clients money would be to cancel the policy in it's entirety. The company reqires a signed cancellation agreement in order to do so, which the client never signed and returned. I believe the policy finally did cancel a month later, for non-payment of required premium."
3. "Tyler Betts told me I would recieve a refund of $420" - I am Tyler Betts, and I do not recall informing the client that he would be refunded. I may have told him that he would be refunded a pro-rated amount if he returned the signed cancellation form, which was never done. I would have no way of knowing the exact amount that he would be refunded either since the insurance company bills the client for the premiums, not the agent.
4. the rest of these accusations seem to be unfounded. In an effort to take the higher road and not turn this into a he said, she said matter, I can tell you that our company prides iteslf on customer relations and always puts our customers first. We have a great sense of urgency and realize that we work for the client, not the insruance companies. Without the client we have nothing, and we will continue to provide top notch products and services. We are well known and respected within the insruance community and will work with our clients to resolve any issues that may arise in the future.
