Larry Miller Toyota Deceptive Peoria Arizona
*Consumer Comment: Here's How It Works
They had an Internet price of $40,523 which include a dealer discount and and an incentive of $2,650 if you trade in and finance through TFS, yeah!!! But what they do use the dealer discount and incentive towards the trade so basically they lower your trade value and tack those supposedly discounts on the trade which in turn they roll negative equity towards your new loan when they should give you full trade value and then the discounts, I went to another toyota dealer and they would pay off my trade, so in short wouldn't recommend this dealership unless you want to get taken advantage of.

First, let me say the Larry Miller dealership chain has distinguished itself as nothing more than slimeballs and a PRIME EXAMPLE if The Sleazy American Car Business. That being said, lets talk about your situation. Whenever you trade a car in on which you still owe money, that amount you still owe NEEDS TO BE PAID. For the dealer to sell it as a used car, take it to the auction or even junk it, it needs to have a CLEAR TITLE which means it needs to be paid off, period.
There are no exceptions to this. Whatever the payoff is, gets added to the loan for the next car, with the end result being you are paying for TWO cars but driving ONLY ONE. Whatever funny business Miller was playing with the numbers all comes down to that one point...the amount owed needs to be paid. The same goes for the other dealership. The amount still owed doesn't simply disappear!
