The company owner (Jeff) contacted me and gave me a quote for 4/13/10. I agreed to use his company and we scheduled for 8:30-9:30 am. I called the owner 2 times on the 12th to confirm with no response. I received a call on 4/13/10 at 7:30 am and the owner informed me that his truck had a broken fan belt and that he would need to reschedule for 11am-1pm. I told him that was fine. at 12:30 I still had not heard from this company and I called again with no response. I called again at 1:10pm the owner said he couldn't get a hold of his crew to verify the truck was ready but that he would get back to me in 30 minutes. I called him again at 2:o0pm and 2:30pm with no answer. I received a call at 2:35 that the owner said the guys were on their way and should be there shortly. At 3:00pm I got a call from the crew stating they were just finishing their last job in Denver and they would arrive at my home in 1 hour. I was upset knowing they were not in fact waiting for a truck but working on another job. When I contacted the owner and asked if he was going to make this right because now the movers would not arrive until 4pm for my 830am move. I had taken off work as well as my husband and we put 3 kids into daycare for the day and we still hadn't seen movers. He was very rude and said he was already priced very low and if I wanted it any lower it wasn't worth his time. When the crew arrived at my home they informed me that they are subcontractors and that this job was scheduled originally for a PM start. WoW! So I wasted my entire day getting the run around and being lied to. I lost wages and Paid for daycare and still had to rent a uhaul and do it myself at 5:30 that night.
