My company, a C corporation, signed a contract for 4 years of service and were leased 2 credit cart processing machines and 2 tablet swipe devices. After 2 years of good service I closed the business due to health issues. They insist that I personally owe them the 2 years balance of payments @ $98.41 which includes $5.00 sales tax(?) and $5.00 insurance. Strangely they are charging sales tax on a leased device. I have attempted to negotiate to pay off a settled balance and return the equipment but they say no. Won't even remove the monthly insurance if I were to pay it off today!  

I think they may be criminals.
