I HAD MY TRANSMISSION REBUILT AT A COST OF 1832.43.I WAS QUOTED A PRICE OF AROUND 1000. WELL MY TRANSMISSION STARTED ACTING UP DOING THE SAME THING WHEN I BROUGHT IN THE CAR THE WARRANTY ENDED ON AUG.2. I TOOK THE CAR TO AN OLDSMOBILE DEALERSHIP. THEY PUT IT ON A LIFT AND TOLD ME THE TRANSMISSION PAN WAS OVERFILLED BY 2 QUARTS AND THEY ALSO FOUND METAL CHIPS IN THE TRANSMISSION. I ONLY PUT 8000 MILES ON THIS TRANSMISSION. THERE'S MORE TO THIS I'M JUST KEEPING IT SHORT.
