On Saturday 8-28-2004 I took my 2002 Camry into them with the hopes of trading it on a 2004 Tacoma. I had paid $22,000 cash for my Camry 2 years ago and it only had 17,000 miles. I was met by Dave right as I pulled up, I barely got out of my car and he was there. I explained what I was looking for and they had several to show me. I found a beautiful Red 4 door with some custom BBS wheels.

I went inside and Dave asked what I wanted my payment to be and I explained I was paying cash, He stated that it would really help the dealership out if I financed it and paid it off the first month. I agreed. They were giving me the truck for 22,000 and giving me 11,000 which seemed low for my trade but I agreed. I went into to finance with Jason and noticed the amount they had me financing was almost $17,000. Thank god I looked over the contract because they had added a bunch of things, first they were adding $1500. for gap insurance I asked why they the add gap to a vehicle that was only financing half it value and Jason had a stupid look on his face, He agreed I didn't need it and removed it, next I noticed he had added the extended warranty which I didn't want for $1500. I asked why he added it and again he got quiet.

So now he had added $3000. without even consulting me, he agreed to remove the warranty and now we were down to around $13,000. I should have left then but I was hooked with that buyer emotion. I financed the $13,000 and left with my new truck. Well this morning as I was going over my contract I noticed Jason gave me $1500. more for my trade in and then re added the gap insurance I also noticed that there is a $2000 early payment penalty. They knew I was going to pay it off with the first payment and the only reason I allowed the financing was to help them. I called the general manager and his only response was " you signed the deal, you live with the deal". These guys betrayed me and I helped them. Please do not buy a car from these people ever, tehy are dishonest and unethical

I also was the victim of Jason in the finance section. On November 17 2004 I went into purchase a 2004 Sienna van. The sticker on the van was 28,000.00. They agreed to allow me to purchase the van for 27,000.00. So far so good. It all started when I went into finance. Jason told me he could get me one extra point off my APR if I spent 1400.00 on the extended warranty. I said no but asked how come he couldn't just give me the extra point off. I realized they had increased the APR to line thier pockets. Jason flat out lied when he stated he got me the lowest APR possible at 6%. All of a sudden if I spent more it would be 5%. As I got up to leave Jason stated that he would give me 5%. I left anyway. I went to Toyota in Morrow and bought the same vehicle at the same price and the APR was 3.9%. Go figure, Jason at Legacy was lying when he said 5% was the best he could do. STAY AWAY FROM LEGACY TOYOTA, THEY ARE CROOKS AND LIARS. IF YOU MUST BUY A TOYOTA GO ANYWHERE ELSE BUT LEGACY
