Leisure Time Savings Shopsmartsavings BIG TIME RIP OFF!!!!! Santa Rosa, Great FAlls, California

I was contacted by one of the two companies on April 16, 2010. They made it sound like they were from my credit card co. They said that because I was such a great customer on my credit card that they were offering me $150.00 in free gas coupons that they would be sending out to me within the next 10 days. I do not recall them saying anything about charging me for any other offers. On May 17, 2010 I checked my bank statement on line and discovered two charges that I had no Idea what they were for. It took my a half hour of searching to find Leisure Time Savings and a phone number for them. I called 1-800-307-4149 and talked to a Joe and he then told me the $29.85 charge was a result of the phone call on April 16th. I explained I had never received the promised packet and he stated the charge would be removed within 2 to 10 days. I was then given a confirmation # for the cancellation. I then began searching for the other business and found this website. After reading the first comment I realized I had been the victim of fraud. I then called Joe back and he told me the other company was a separate entity and gave me the 1-800-315-3904 phone number to talk to that company. The woman who answered Octavia was very rude, she could not pull up my "account" by my phone number. and tried to tell me I had no account with them. I finally told her I had been charged $29.95 by their company and she asked me my name and found the account. At that time she began rattling on that the 30 days had expired yesterday . I asked her if she would please listen to me as I had not received any "packet" as promised. she spoke over me and said no I needed to listen to her. She then stated because I had not received the packet and it was only yesterday that the 30 trial had expired, she would reverse the charge and cancel the account. This scam needs to be stopped. there is no telling how many people have been attacked by these people.
