lifeproof Refused to replace phone after false advertising!! san diego California

 This company is horrible!! I bought an Iphone 4 nine days ago along with the case.  Wonderful enough, I checked the case to make sure it wouldnt leak.  Without my phone in it.  Ok, no problems... Then I went to a wedding and I dropped my phone. No worries its life prrof right?  It was perfect.  No problems then.  I wanted to make sure it was still water proof and took my phone out of the case...  Still worked!! I was like YES!! Ok, so NO:(  I was sitting by the pool and my 5 year old was yelling for me to throw her dive rings to het.  So what do I do?  I put my phone in my bra and went over to the shallow end of the pool  which is only 5 feet deep in the deepest place... (but the phone is all good until 6 feet right??)  So in the 3 foot section of my pool I bend over to pick up my 5 year old... My phone falls out of my bra and my 13 year old grabs it befor it hit the bottom.. Ok so all good right??? Phone still looked good all sealed up... Ok, or not so after my kids are done in the pool I go to put my phone on the charger and open the charging slot.  Water comes pouring out.  Wow so a 9 day old Iphone 4 wont charge, wont turn on.  My warenty doesnt cover water damage.  I have to pay $200 for a refurbished phone.  Wonderful. I should have bought a Otterbox!! DONT BUY FROM LIFEPROOF!! The will not stand behind product!
