I'M BEGINNING TO THINK THAT I'VE BEEN COMPLETELY SCAMMED AND AM OUT OF MY MONEY!

I placed an order for a necklace for my mother that was supposed to be a Christmas present on December 5th. The company charged my card and up until yesterday, December 30, I hadn't heard ANYTHING from them or received the necklace. I finally went onto their website and chatted with customer service to find out what was going on.

Although I never received any sort of notification from them saying that they had shipped my product, the representative said that my order was shipped on December 13 and supplied me with a tracking number and a link, to what looked like a DHL website, to track my order. The most recent status update on the order said that it had "Arrived at Post Office" in Pittsburgh (where I live) on December 17... but it didn't say delivered, and I never received anything. I took a walk to the post office this morning, tracking number in hand and the man working checked and had no package. He then said that he would check the system and find out where it could be. He came back and said that the system said I had an invalid tracking number, so I went home and went on the DHL website to check the tracking number, which also had no record of the tracking number.

I called the company and asked them where my necklace was. I told her that the post office and DHL BOTH said that it was an invalid tracking number and she told me that I HAD to go to this specific link to check the shipping status. I told her that makes no sense and that if it was shipped through DHL they should have a record of it, and if it "arrived at the post office", the post office should have some sort of record.. She apologized for the inconvenience and said she would refund 25% and have a replacement shipped out if I didn't get it by next week. BUT, I'm starting to believe that there is nothing to replace. I attempted to check out the website that she gave me to track the order again, and IT DIDN'T WORK ANYMORE. The page would not load at all. Which is weird because the DHL website still worked perfectly fine, and if this was really a DHL page it should have worked too.

This was supposed to be a Christmas present. It is now past Christmas and by the time I get it, IF I EVER GET IT, it will be too late and embarrassing to give a present.. It's EMBARRASSING that I now don't have a gift for my mother. I have a feeling that I've been scammed and that I'm never going to receive anything. The 25% and sending a replacement isn't enough.. What's going to make up for not having a gift for my mother on Christmas?

I wouldn't recommend ordering from them. Something just doesn't make sense here.
