On 4/16/15, I purchased a lot of 4 Samsung Note 2 N7100 cell phones in a auction listing on liquidation.com for over $600. The phones were listed as "Grade A Refurbished", which I was fine with. I make a living buying and selling online, so I am no stranger to refurbished items. After receiving the phones, not only were there items missing, but I discovered they were indeed clones or counterfeits. According to the website, it is common for refurbished phones to arrive with missing accessories, and I am aware of this. However, they are not what was described in the auction listing. In the description, they were listed at 5.5" screens with 16GB memory. The phones I received have 5.25" screens and only 12GB memory, which was a huge red flag. The phones were also missing accessories, were not the correct size and shape , had hardware installed that did not match Samsung specifications and even had hacked serial numbers, which I confirmed with Samsung customer support. I also took the phones to my local AT&T store and the manager tested them for functionality. The conclusion was the same; cloned cell phones.

So, after receiving them and finding out they were fake, I filed a dispute through the website the next day and submitted photographic evidence as requested. I also filed a Paypal claim as well because I used them to process the transaction. Today, just 3 later, I was informed by liquidation customer support that my claim was denied. Just based on the screen size and hardware discrepancies alone, there should have been no problem with me being issued a refund on a "Not as described" basis. I find it extremely immoral that this company will not process my refund after all the evidence I have sent them. Liquidation.com Has a notorious track record for siding with sellers, and I wish I would have known that before I purchased from their website. The same seller I purchased the phones from, is still on their site selling fakes, one just has to look at the pictures of the phones to tell they are fake. Sadly, I was not aware of the differences until after I placed my order.

Also, to add to my frustration, I went to liquidation.com and tried to log into my account and was blocked, with a message telling me to call customer service. After calling, I was connected to a rather rude woman who told me that they could reinstate my account if I cancelled the PayPal dispute and signed an electronic agreement to never file another dispute of any kind with Paypal as long as I was a member of the site. Before I refused, I informed the operator how dishonest I thought it was and asked for her name...I was quickly dismissed and hung up on! At this point, I am taking every legal recourse I can muster in order to obtain my money back and also decided to come here and register my complaint as well as report them to the FTA and BBB. There a many similar complaints found online about liquidation.com and it boggles the mind how a company with such dishonest business practices is still in the marketplace. A class action suit needs to be filed against this company! Don't do business with these criminals! They knowingly let dishonest sellers peddle their garbage and give the buyer no recourse to complain, and when you do, they threaten you with account closure! I will be posting this everywhere online!
