Litton Mortgage ripoff Mailed payment for 1st mortgage to Litton in error and they won't return our money Houston Texas

Our 2nd mortgage was sold to Litton effective our November 1, 2004 payment. In error, I mailed a check to Litton for the amount of our 1st mortgage. I called Customer Service immediately and was assured by Customer Service that they would reverse the payment that day and send $1000+ back to us immediately.

A week later I called back and was told by Customer Service that they had no record of my call and our loan was due for August 2005. I explained our situation AGAIN and was told they were putting our loan in "Research".

A week later we got a check for $200 and received a statement showing we are due for July 2005. My husband called back again and they said they had to reverse all of payments off again, reapply them and then have Finance cut us a check.

It is now almost 2 months later and we have not received our money. We have talked to a "Team Lead" - HA - numerous times who has promised us 3 different dates that we will get our check. According to her our loan is still in "Research".
