Loan Point USA - LoanPoint will take money WITHOUT a loan! Internet
*Consumer Suggestion: Report it to the bank

My husband was notified on Sept 9, 2009 that $400 was taken out of HIS checking account for loan that amount. Neither he nor I have EVER had a loan with this company. When I called, they claimed that I had the loan. When I asked where they got my husband's checking account info, the representative got testy and started accusing me of lying. I tried explaining that we had never heard of them and had never taken a loan out and she continued to call me a liar. She then asked if I was on the checking account. It is NOT a joint account. She then said "You are a deadbeat". I hung up after that. I don't know who these people are, but my husband is filing a police report.

You should also report this unauthorized debit to the bank, if you have not done so already. They will investigate, and put the money back into the account.
