I received a summons in 2007 that I owed money on a Capital One Visa card: case # CS-2007-1053. I disputed the debt, the Plaintiff for whom LBN claimed they represented, and the fact that they had any right to this case. For over a year we fought in the court, please see court records.
LBN wanted to see my evidence and I refused to show the evidence as they had not proven the debt or that they were truly representing Capital One. Judge Ring informed the attorney that they had to prove a debt was owed: they sent a collection letter.
I had a Family Emergency arise, I notified the court and LBN prior to a court date, but LBN filed for a judgment.
Now I am fighting the judgment.
