lowmileageparts.com Used alternator ripoff Internet Nationwide

 I found an alternator listed that fit my vehicle & paid for it. The part arrived a week later and it was the wrong part with the wrong SKU on it. I boxed it up in the same packaging and called lowmileageparts.com & spoke to someone who advised me to send it back to the same address that it came from. I asked about shipping at that time and was told "no problem". I paid the shipping out of my pocket and sent it back. I kept on top of the tracking number, and when the part arrived there, I e-mailed lowmileageparts.com & got in touch with James, who then turned me over to Nick.

Nick said that the part arrived damaged (bent pulley & broken wiring plug), and refused to offer me a full refund or pay for shipping the part back. We chatted for some lengh via e-mail and he offered my initial payment less a re-stocking fee. Hmmm...A broken plug & bent pulley?? How do you re-stock that?? I'm out $82.00 & got back $47.00, and lost two weeks of vehicle usage time. The alternator they sent me was a 160 Amp alternator as opposed to the 136 Amp alternator the vehicle requires.
