2 teens came to my door this morning saying they were collecting points for their trip to Europe and I could help them if I bought magazines. I told them that I usually didn't read magazines. Then they said I could buy magazines for children in cancer hospitals. Somehow I was convinced and wrote 2 checks for 2 magazines for children in hospital. I got receipts, saying in title "LTP Inc., an affiliate of USCCTRAVEL.com, really wants to thank you for supporting your contestant." The receipt also said to cancel the order I had to mail/telegram cancellation form to them within 3 business days. After they left I opened the web site and it was empty. Then I went through the receipt again and didn't see any hospital's address (where they supposed to send the magazines to) at all. So I became suspicious. Then I googled the company's phone number, 770-831-7722 and saw scam reports with similar stories on ripoffreport.com. I immediately called my bank to cancel the checks. I may still need to mail the cancellation form to them.

I felt really sorry for the 2 teen if they knew what they're doing. It looks like the company used different names in the past, such as quality subscriptions and family circulation etc.

Hopefully others will learn from my lesson.
