Luxury Spas Inc is a scam company that sells mediocre products they know very little about with no means or intention to service or replace them when they malfunction.  We purchased a 9KW Steam Generator from Luxury Spa Inc for our newly remodeled bathroom at a cost of $950.  We chose this model based on the appropriate size for our needs, the relatively inexpensive price compared to other units, and the presumed assurance we were getting the product from a knowledgeable dealer.   We had the unit professionally installed by an electrician and plumber combo who had experience in steam showers.    We had 3 wonderfully steamy showers before the device mysteriously stopped working.  Upon calling Luxury Spas Inc to ask for advice, we found out that their “service department” does not accept phone calls and we were directed to send an email.  The service technician who finally answered our emails never provided any substantial help and spent most of the correspondence skirting our very direct questions.   They have repeatedly refused to take phone calls from us or from our electrician to discuss details about the unit.   

After doing more research on the company, it became clear that their business is focused on direct imports from China, rather than any experience in the spa industry itself.  It makes sense then that they were wholly unhelpful in our service request because they earnestly have no clue how to work on products they sell.  In fact, you can save yourself the headache and buy the product directly from China for half the price.  We found the exact same product on Amazon for $479.  Their refund policy is ridiculous with a 30% restocking fee even for defective merchandise.  We are currently pursuing a small claims lawsuit to try and recoup our wasted money from this dishonest company.
