In looking at Ripoffreport.com, I noticed several individuals who were victims just like myself regarding M3 Strategy in Scottsdale, AZ.  I am sure most of our stories start out the same way, in that we were looking for some relieve from our negative equity mortgages.

Back in Feb 2010, I contacted M3 Strategy to see about a short refi on my mortgage.  I spoke with one of their customer service reps (CSR) who impressed me with the success of their company and the procedures involved in a short refi.  Prior to sending them any money, I conducted what I thought was due diligence researching everything from BBB websites, Arizona real estate licensing bureau, Arizon Secretary of State, property appraiser's websites, you name it.  Since nothing negative showed up on the radar, I thought M3 Strategy was a risk worth taking.  I understood that the ultimate decision on the short refi was with my bank, so there was no guarantees made by M3.  What I did not expect, nor will tolerate, is that M3 failed to do what they said they would do in regards to the short sale.

Over the past several months, I have found out that my original CSR had been fired from the company (per a conversation with Michele Mitchell) and that M3 only corresponded with my bank on two occasions.  The first was when they sent my bank the authorization to let M3 speak with them on my behalf.  The second was a 37 page loan modification packet M3 sent.  However, in talking with my bank, once they received the mod packet, I had 30 days to contact my bank to verify with them the information provided and notified M3 of this requirement.  M3 never contacted me to relay this information, and my bank destroyed the packet.  I subseqently initiated a loan mod file with my bank over the phone at no cost to me.

Back in May and June 2010, I was able to contact David Thomspon once and Michele Mitchell twice, both times they promised copies of all documents they sent to my bank along with a copy of the forensic audit.  To date I have received nothing.  The second time I spoke with Ms Mitchell was due to a letter I emailed to her threating to report her for attempted identify fraud.  She called me within ten minutes of my sending the email.

Another post on this site mentioned that Wilbur Hudson (who is referenced as a party to our agreement with M3) did not exist.  Actually, he does exist and in a conversation I had with him, mentioned that he too was unaware of M3's deceptive business practices and has since parted ways with M3.  However, as he was a party to the agreement, I think another conversation with him is warranted.

Contacting the Attorney's General office in AZ is a very good idea.  You can file a complaint with them on-line.  The only problem is that they handle every complaint as a separate issue.  My suggestion is for as many of us as possible who were victimized by M3 to pool our incidents and make a complaint to the FBI.  If the dollar amount is substantial, the US Attorney's Office may be interested in taking action against M3.

I am considering the money I gave M3 is gone, but my desire to bring to justice those who deceived me is never ending.
