Mac Tools, G And J Tools DON'T TRUST YOUR MAC TOOLS DEALER!! Westerville Ohio

Don't trust your MAC man!! I'm the owner of a repair shop/towing co. and we purchased close to $10,000.00 dollars worth of tools from our MAC guy and never had a late payment. We bought things over a period of 2 years and never had a problem but we traded in our old welder and got a new one from him and then the trouble started!!! We bought it after being told it was manufactured by MILLER - Lie! We used it for about 6-8 months and the contact tip and the tip holder became damaged and would not release the tip. So I thought no big deal I'll just go to Miller and get a new holder! WRONG!!!

Found out it's a Nu-Tech Welder still OK not really mad yet so I ask the MAC guy to get the parts because Nu-Tech has no contact info and when called they act like they have no idea they even make welders - STRANGE! Also, there was a contact inside the welder that had gotten hot and needed warrantied so I give the WHOLE WELDER to the Mac Guy thinking this would be fine I could have the contact fixed and get the pieces for the gun all at the same time and maybe they would warranty both since it was still under warranty.

I LOST THE WHOLE WELDER FOR ALMOST 2 YEARS!!! My Mac guy goes belly up!!! He never comes back because I was CURRENT AND DIDN"T OWE ANY MONEY!!!!! He has my welder on his truck locked in a building and then at some guys storage yard for almost 2 years, it's paid for and supposed to be being repaired and none of it was done. So now I'm angry so I call and ask for a district rep. right? WRONG AGAIN!! There is no district rep for my area anymore or for LINCOLN! I ask "CUSTOMER SERVICE" @ Mac to have someone call me. ANYONE WANT TO GUESS HOW MANY CALLS I GOT?? RIGHT NOT ONE!!!

SO, finally another shop who put my piece of crap Mac Guys generator together finds him and gets him to let them have their NOW USED generator back and they get my welder in the process right? I get the welder back and no work has been done but thats OK I got it back right? I call MAC because they are the only outlet for parts to this $1900.00 machine and after a couple hours jumping through their hoops I have ordered parts to fix my machine but that was on 2/4/09. So, I was starting to wonder what had happened so I called them today and their statement was, my order had been placed on hold and the credit card not ran, I thought to my self OK, if there was a problem with my credit card why wouldn't you call me and say something, I am here everyday.

This is now the 19th of Feb., that's 15 days later no parts, no call, no SERVICE!!!! This is ridiculous!!! I left a message for BILL MOLL at ext. 27154 and ask him to call me. When I talked to Mike Tupp in tech support or customer service I can't recall which he wanted to get me in touch with a District rep named Kevin McComas and try to get my welder fixed under warranty but I need the tool fixed now so I said have him call me and we can talk about it but I'll pay for the parts now cause I need them I GOT NEITHER PHONE CALL OR PARTS!!

I will never do business with MAC TOOLS again! They have no concept of service and apparently no concept of honesty, or integrity! I have paid my bill, I have even tried to clean up after their distributor and still have had no satisfaction. Ok, I think I'm done complaining so I better go back to the cars that need repaired so I can afford to be taken for a ride by the next tool guy! HAHA!
