MacMall PCMall, PCM, eCOST Rebates - short redemption period and multiples never paid without an email or phone call to complain Internet 

Under several names and websites, they offer rebates on many computer items.  My company has been buying the maximum number of HP LV2311 monitors per rebate period (5) from whichever one has the best price and shipping at the time.  The rebate is for $30 per monitor and, if I get around to mailing the rebates within 20 days of the order date

(not the later date shipped or received), they always send a check for $30...no matter how many places I write in HUGE LETTERS "5 X $30 = $150 and how many places I highlight the number "5" in the rebate form instructions, on the invoice or as plainly evident on the copy of the 5 UPC codes (they DO allow photocopies).  I have to email or call and then, sometime later, they MAY send the remainder or wait for me to email or call again.

I'm beginning to think that they've contracted an inane government agency or school for the blind to do the rebate processing.  Or, more likely, it's quite on purpose.
