I did not receive any type of confirmation email stating the date of my order or the terms of my free trial. I wasn't even sure I was going to get it until I checked my bank account. According to my bank account records, there were two charges on 10/9/18 - one for $0.05 probably to verify my account and one for $4.96. Both were on my bank account under "PES*BESTMALEACCESS. *1861" I assumed correctly that these were the Magnetique charges.
I remember when I placed the ordered, that I looked for fine print and vaguely remember seeing 14 days. I assumed I would receive a confirmation email so that I could look more carefully at the terms and conditions of the free trial but like I said before, I never received one.
On 10/19/18, at 12:30 pm, I looked up their website and phone number online. I called to cancel and asked them if I had been charged anything yet. They said I was charged $89.99 earlier that same day on 10/19/18. I asked for a refund. They told me no.
I fought with them quite a bit, saying that my bank records said I ordered on the 9th but the most they would refund to me was $44 and told me it would take 5-10 days to receive the refund in my bank account.
After I got off the phone, I searched for my packing slip. I found it! The packing slip said I ordered on 10/5/18. The packing slip said nothing of the terms and conditions of my free trial. I was happy because I was still within the 14 days and now I had proof. So I called them back. The lady said that I agreed to receive $44 back and so they weren't going to give me a full refund. I argued with her but she steadfastly refused to refund any more stating it was company policy. I called her a few choice words and hung up.
It seems like Magnetique INTENTIONALLY OBSCURES YOUR ORDER DATE SO THAT THEY CAN DEFRAUD THEIR CUSTOMERS. Then, they try to confuse you and get you to accept a partial refund. If you accept a partial refund out of duress, and later find PROOF that you cancelled within their time frame, they say, "Too bad. You already agreed to a partial refund and our company policy is that if you agree to a partial refund, you don't get any more refunds, even if you have proof that you deserve a full refund."
MAGNETIQUE is most definately A BIG RIPOFF.
It took at least a week for my order to arrive so a week or less is not enough time to evaluate whether or not the product works anyway. BTW - I had absolutely no noticable thair growth during my free trial.
- Magnetique intentionally mades it hard to find and read the terms and conditions of the free trial.
- Magnetique does not send a confirmation email to help you know when you ordered or what the terms and conditions of the free trial are.
- Magnetique does not honor the order date on the packing slip that comes with the free trial.
- Magnetique does not put the terms and conditions of the free trial on the packing slip.
- Magnetique customer service reps try to get you to agree to a partial refund by arguing with you until you hang up or agree to the partial refund.
- Magnetique refuses to give you a full refund after you accept a partial refund even if you bring proof that you were within the trial period.
- Magnetique is skilled at the art of deception and defrauds their customers using well concealed terms and conditions and intentionally obsured order dates.
