Mags Almost Free - PayPal ignore complaints about non-delivery Internet

Six months ago I purchased a subscription to Knit 'N Style from Mags Almost Free and paid by PayPal. $15.95 is hardly free. Bad enough that Mags Almost Free did not deliver and ignores my emails. But it is inexcusable for PayPal to protect them by ignoring disputes which I have attempted to file against the company. So much for PayPal's claims of protection from unscrupulous merchants.

I found the company on ebay and because of positive previous dealings with magazines ordered from other ebay sellers, I was not concerned. He did claim that ebay curtailed much subscription sales a while ago because it takes so long (usually 6-8 weeks) before customers get their product. That meant that customers couldn't provide accurate feedback within ebay's feedback window. The fact that he had somehow survived the ebay purge made me think that he was more reputable. Nothing could be further from the truth. How he remained unscathed by ebay as anyone's guess. Why PayPal protects him may be explained by the sheer number of complaints against him and that they don't want to pay out.
