I was contacted by a man named Christian White, I found that unusual becasue we were contacted in May by a man claiming to be a Chris and he was from another company. That Chris was from a company called Canyon Captial.
We spoke about all different things, and it sounded so good. It was hard to not beilieve him. He asked for very little information.
What tipped me off was when earlier today I spoke with a man who answered the phone who stated we had been keeping them at bay for months, since May. That struk me as odd since it was another companies name that we were attempting to work with in May.
Today there was a knock at our door, it was a man here to serve my husband papers. He said he had to come back as he had to go copy them off. When I could not sleep tonight, I came back out to the papers he was served with and found that there was staple marks in the papers and the dates were for back in Aungust.
Someone told our mortagae company that we both had moved to CA. There was an address for an apartment where there was no one living according to Google. Yet, there was my maiden name attached to this paper work we were served with.
I am super worried now..what has happened here...how do we know for sure that this man Christian White actually called our mortgage company when we had him on the line....I am super confussed..so lost now.
We clearly were ripped off, I will comtact the FBI tomorrow as the other person suggested we do as they have gotten money from us.
My husband will be stopping payments on the checks..

After having a few days to do more through investigation into the Manchester Legal Group of Los Angels, CA I learned that they are not the fraud group I reported last Monday the 23 of October, 2017. I realize I was scared and upset over having received legal papers from our lender of our home. It was they who were misled by another group called Canyon Captial. These two organizations Canyon Capital and Manchester Legal Group are in no ways linked or know of the other. I spoke with some knowledgeable and informative top officals of Manchester Legal Group on Friday of this past week who helped clear up the confusion for me. It was this sheer confusion and fear of losing our home that caused me to seek out the RIpOff Report Group. I learned through research of this group that no reports can ever be removed, nor will they remove them even if you ask them too. I was stunned to learn this. Sometimes persons get scared, and lash out with out clearly thinking which is what happened here last week when I contacted Ripoff Report. PLease know that this group the Manchester Legal Group, is kind and willing to work with us, I was the one who jumped and should have called them right away which is not what happened. Homes are not anything to mess with yet it happens to persons all the time, seeing the address for CA as a mailing address for my husband and I really sent me off. For this I am super sorry and please know that after Friday discussing things over with top staff at the Manchester Legal Group that those mentioned in previous reports were written in hast and fear. Thank you for allowing me to write this Rebuttle and please know I will come back and let everyone know how this turns out in the end. We are if the Manchester Legal Group will still allow us to still working with them. Sincerely with much regret,
