Manchester Who's Who provided no good or services, after I stopped payment with my credit card, they resubmitted Ripoff Oceanside New York

I've reported this company previously and described their deceptive practices, so I will not bore you be repeating the details. However, I was initially successful in stopping payment to them by contacting my credit card. If my memory serves me correctly, the original charges were approximately $179.

However, several days later, they resubmitted a charge to my credit card for an ADDITIONAL $200. They did not notify me that they were doing this, nor did they send me a welcome packet, disk or logon information for their website. I called them a half dozen times and left messages each time. They of course, did not return a single call, even though I carefully said and spelled my name, repeated my telephone number several times, and briefly summarized the problem I was having.

I have filed a dispute of the charge with the credit card company, but they are fighting it, so I may never get my money back.

I also believe they may have once again changed their name, as now the charge on my credit card is for "Whos Who Directories" - no Manchester in the name.
