I am suprised only one other person posted a complaint on here. Check the BBB for other complaints. Even google will turn up some major issues. This guy is nice and friendly when he gets your business, but then after one or two draws, he never shows up again. Thats what happened to me and others I know. His work is spotty -- never obtaining permits as required. You may want to look up county courthouse records for others who have sued him. He threatens you over the phone and email when he starts to feel the heat. The photos on his website are of his own house ... pretty cha cha. He used to advertise on Craigslist, but at least those scammed by him got him removed from there. BEWARE OF THIS JERK!

I too have been scammed by Marc Labate and Allied Construction. Cost me thousands of dollars to fix the problems he created. He is now being investigated by Travis County Attorney General and they are asking for additional victims to come forward. So please contact the local AG office.
