MARONDA Homes Had to hire a lawyer. Built in 2005 on bad fill. House sinking. Wrrty group piered a portion of my house , but I needed a lawyer to get Maronda to do the right thing.The inside floors are cracked and deflected. Sanford Florida

We bought this house new on November 23 2005. My husand was terminal & wanted our 11 year old son & me to have a new house so he could die in peace.  In 2009 I noticed the floor deflecting under the linoleum.  I contacted Bonded Builders Warranty Group re:10 year warranty.  It took 3 certified letters to finally get them to approve work  necessary to raise my house.  There had to be at least a 1/4 " deflection in the concrete floor inside my house to have approval for the work. Jan 2009-Nov 2009 the floor moved so much I was worried someone would trip over it. The major cracks were just inside the front door.

Piers were put down 35-50 Feet to the hardpack to anchor the front & garage side of my house.  13 piers in all April 2010.  

Maronda said it would fix all the inside floors and wall cracks .  Ha Ha Ha.  They came and SLICED THE LINOLEUM where they could see the crack. Maronda brought 3 tubes of floor caulking !!  They ran out of caulking before even getting close to fixing. Would not address the beveled floors and othe cracks.  Refused to pull up linoleum & carpeting to see what else was cracked...  He was going to come back the next day & buff over the linoleum and disregard all the cracks not filled & re-vinyl right over the top ?????   I told them NOT TO COME BACK..

I was undergoing breast cancer beginning Oct 7th 2009 . Jan 10,2010 I began chemo & radiation  Through the end of 2010. And still ongoing now.

I ripped up the linoleum & carpet and found so many cracks . Unbelievable.

I went to the Naval Legal system and they referred me to a lawyer.  I now have a lawyer handling my problem.  Maronda has agreed to pier my whole house.  Now for the inside??
