.. well, well, well.... I guess what comes around goes around, eh?
o To the many persons that have called me thanking me for helping steer
them away from the Marvin Group, I can only say "you're very welcome"
o And to the many persons that have called to say they have
experienced the same treatment as I have by the Marvin Group, all I can say is that at least I know I'm not the only one...
o And to the 2 gentlemen who are legitimate business brokers who called to give me insight and guidance regarding my situation, I can only say "thank you"... the information that both of you provided to me about my rep Art Corrigan having been found guilty of fraud, and cheating/scheming Cole Taylor Bank out of hundreds of thousands of dollars in the 1990's, and subsequently tossed in jail for doing so. It was certainly interesting reading.
in re: Cole Taylor Bank v. Corrigan, 595 N.E.2d 177,180 (Ill. Ct. App. 1992).
I was not aware that in order to be a business broker in the state of Illinois that you had to be LICENSED.. and from what I am told, apparently Mr. Corrigan is not licensed. I am sitting here in front of my computer
wondering if the state of Illinois denies licenses to persons with a criminal background???
Also, I'd like to say thank you for providing Ms. Linda Olson's phone number at the Illinois Secretary of State's office, in Springfield Illinois regarding this
matter. Getting me her number has certainly been very helpful in expediting this matter for further legal consideration!
