Master Cuts Marie - the UNSKILLED Stylist (I use the word 'Stylist' loosley!) The Commons Mall In Federal Way Washington

I was at the mall in Federal Way, WA last week, buyng a few items for my upcoming vacation and decided to stop in Master Cuts to get a very simple bang trim. I spend thousands of dollars a year on my hair (extensions, color, cuts, products) as my hair is very important to me.

Since I already have the cut, I figured its not rocket science to follow the lines and simply trim the bangs. Since Marie asked no questions, I proceeded to informed her of the things PROFESSIONAL stylists usually ask, like, let's not cut too short since we can always go shorter, just follow the cut, make them piecey not blunt, etc...

I wear contacts so, to avoid getting hair in my eyes, I closed my eyes, secure in the fact that she can handle the task put before her since she is a liscened stylist (according to the very dated liscense she displayed) and employed by a large chain who I am sure conducted all the necessary checks before offering a new stylist a position, and waited for the bang trimming session to end.

When I was done, I looked in the mirror and was mortified! I mean, granted, Marie was quite homely, dressed as if she was stuck in 1982 and sported an awful hairstyle (think fried and frosted) but, again, bang trimming is something I'm sure many stylists master immediately so, despite how she looked, I was still confident she knew how to cut bangs. To my horror, she cut my bags off! She cut AROUND MY FREAKIN FOREHEAD, and cut them off!

I was so upset and I was so close to doing something that would land me in jail instead of on vacation so I just threw $10 on the counter and ran to my car before loosing it completly!

That night I slept in a shower cap (too embarrased to let my husband see my new look) and while on vacation (in 100+ degree heat) I sported a knitted ski hat with my shorts, bathing suits and cocktail dresses!

I wanted to post this in the hopes that it will make me feel a little better but I am also going to see how I go about adding a photo, if possible. I'm tellin ya, you gotta see what she did to me!
