We were promised a low interest loan on a large piece of equipment that we had on order. We sent them a deposit of $10,000. In fact, it turns out, they never had any intention of obtaining a loan for us.
They never produced a loan and then promised to send back a portion of the deposit, but 10 weeks later we have seen nothing. We filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and their attorney, Mark Scott, responded by suing us for defamition of character asking for $25,000 in damages!
I beleive that defrauding people within the financial lending business is a Federal violation especially when it involves crossing state lines. These folks do this again and again on a premeditated basis garnering lots of money for no results. Why don't they go to jail?

After investigating this company I have found NUMEROUS complaints of a similar nature with the BBB and lease police. I would like to suggest reporting this company to the FTC or federal trade commission. Although leasing companies are not highly regulated, they still work within the financial sector. The number of cases reported will only serve to support the preditory and premeditated nature of this company along with their unfair refund practices.
