Before you hire Mauricio Gonzalez, please read the following: -Dogs are NOT consistently walked on time. -I love ALL babies and animals -- BUT for liability and safety reasons,Mauricio Gonzalez should not be bringing his mother and his dog to other peoples' homes while "on the job." It's not professional. And it's certainly not pleasant coming home to dirty baby diapers tossed in your own bathroom trash bin. -Mauricio Gonzalez is a chain-smoker who smokes on his walks with the dogs. Absolutely unacceptable. -Petty theft! Not to sound petty here, but there was an entire basket full of tangerines, a dozen gum packets and chocolate bars that went missing the second week I hired Mauricio Gonzalez. Hmm?! -It took me two weeks to get my set of keys back. -There is also a conflict of interest in combining pet care services with animal rescue. It's nice saving animals, but I sure felt pressured when constantly asked to foster animals and donate to Mauricio Gonzalez's church. And knowing there were items that went missing from my home, how do I even know $5 from my dogs' walks were really used towards helping animals like he advertises?

I recently hired Mauricio Gonzalez, Owner of Live Love Pet Care and Animal Rescue, when my work schedule changed and I was also in the middle of moving from Long Beach to LA. I couldn't stop by my home during lunch to walk my two Labradors. What a NIGHTMARE! NEVER again will I trust ANYONE with my babies! The first week went OK. I requested for Mauricio(and no one else) to walk my Labs. He would show up to walk them around the block and give them treats that I would leave out on my kitchen counter-top. The second week was disastrous! Mauricio texted me on three occasions saying he was running late and that instead he could send his "trusted" friends to MY HOME to walk MY DOGS! Of course, I said NO, and Mauricio showed up an hour late for the walks. My neighbor relayed to me there was one afternoon Mauricio showed up and just let my dogs out in the backyard without actually walking them around the block. He had snapped up photos of my dogs and texted them to me as though my dogs had returned from a long walk and were "happily resting" in my backyard. The final night, I returned home and found my dogs had pooped and peed all over my bedroom because they were not walked that entire day! RIDICULOUS! I immediately called Mauricio to discuss this matter (and to let him know I no longer wanted his services); he answered the phone in such a clueless, unprofessional manner, "What's up?! Everything cool with your dogs?"
