Maxtor ripoff maxtor or best buy or both guilty Miami Florida

I bought a maxtor 80 gig hard drive from best buy in Killeen, Texas. I was very careful to read all the directions and stipulations because the rebate is the only reason I bought the drive.

Three weeks later I received a letter from maxtor stating "Your purchase was not made within the required dates for this rebate."

I see that I am not the only victim of this scam. I feel much like others that Best Buy is partly or mostly to blame and I am going to demand my money.
