Received this oppertunity letter to staple these books for $20.00 dollars each. Possiblity of making
$2 to $3,000 a week. Just had to fill out this form and send them $49.00 refundable later.
Well, having been confronted with lots of scams the past year, I checked the BBB. They came up
with differant address, 88 E. Main Street Menham NJ 07945-1832. They were rated F due to little
information gathered other than a home based business. BBB made inquiries to the company, no
response. I checked for a business phone number, none listed. That does not jive. Checked
for website, none. Sent them 2 letters to the Succasunna address in the letter they sent me.
In the letters I replied what I have came up with and asked them for proof of legitimacy, ie,
pictures of front and inside office and staff and supplies to b sent to my email, a business phone
number and website address and email address and for them to send a report about them to the
BBB. I gave them 10 days to respond or I was going to report them to the BBB, local TV and
now Ripoff. I let them know I was not going to let them rip people off aand they were not going to
rip off me. As of two weeks now I have received no response and now I check out Ripoff to find other ripoff reports on them anbd that they once had another name. So I confirm they are a scam.

I just had to say something here...

Today I received "THE" letter from Maxwell Gates and their "offer of employment" - stuffing envelopes from home. It surely is an offer that looks all too well too good to be true. And of course, I too have done what most other folks have done before me - the google name and scam search, and that has landed me here in Ripoff Reports. As I've sat and read the many comments, reports, postings and rebuttals, forming my own opinions, I simply cold not help but respond when I saw this one....
Although I understand the author wants to be sure these people are legitimate, (like me) and I could see a request for a contact number and name as something reasonable, I really had to laugh when I saw the author's other demands....hahaha...What in the world would make he/she think that ANY company would send photos of their offices, staff or supplies on demand and within a specified time frame of someone they do not know or who does not work for them? What planet are is this person from that photos constitute "proof of legitimacy"? Any idiot can cut and past pictures and email them. C'mon, get realistic, just because a threat is made doesn't mean a business is going to ask "How High" when someone says "Jump" or even have to prove they are legitimate to anyone. Although I am forming the same opinion as most here, I don't feel that just because Maxwell Gates did not respond to the author of the report "confirms" scamming or that this is a non-existent business.
I also think this author is a little confused...plain and simple, a business is legitimate if they have a Tax ID#. If they are registered with the Fed Gov't (not the BBB) then they are a business. They do not have to have a phone, web address, an office, or even staff. But being a legitimate business does not mean that they do not scam people. A legitimate business can still steal your money. Many do. Look at Elron.
I do find it interesting that in all of the research I have done thus far, I have only seen two people respond that they have worked with this company and made money. The first person, "Steve", made money when this company was apparently using a different name in 2010, and was not on this site. The second person, "Scott", has made several similar responses to the many posts on this site. The hostility in his responses makes me wonder if he actually is one of the owners of this company as opposed to someone who has actually stuffed envelopes for them. In one response he is from Omaha and in another from Succasunna. Hummm very interesting. I would be more inclined to believe this letter I got today was authentic if I had seen more positive posts from several different people.

Untrue allegations

Nonsense. Ive used the program for years and get a check from the
company every week. the internet is apparently loaded with people who
have no lives, and therefore comment on a program they know nothing
about. 99% of all negative comments are from these morons who have never
even seen the materials this company sells.
