Maxwell Systems Quest earthwork software Internet

We were to have an on-site demonstration.  When the salesman arrived we listened to this long spiel about his equipment being lost on his plane flight.  Consequently, he could not do the normal demonstration and it was done on-line by his office.  The salesman directed each question we had during the demo back to the on-line technician.  We later found out that he did not fly up to our office, but had driven and actually did not know how to use the program at all. He promised a number of things such as the program being user friendly and easily printing proposals.  We use TopCon GPS Grade Systems and we were told that the Maxswell application would interface with TopCon.  It will not!  Our estimators have been using AGTECH for the past 20 years with excellent support and service.  Maxwell Systems was supposed to be faster and easier, but not so.  The product support is very poor.  The salesman will not even return calls.  We have had Maxwell Systems for six months as of mid June 2010 and still cannot use it.  But they have been quick to remind us that we are bound by contract to pay them whether the system works or not.
