This place is beyond horrible and the worst part is probably nothing can be done about the monsters and freaks that work there...I generally go there to get a drink, and during the day it's usually fine. At night though, the night shift, is run by schmucks, low lifes, and no mannered abusive psycho and sociopaths.... It seems to be getting worse lately. I have a health condition which prevents me from being able to really reach my arm out very far and grab haevy things. I reach my hand out far enough to grab my items and it's not a problem for any sane normal person working at a drive thru to hand it to you without an issue. For some psychopaths though it is a huge issue and seems to be some kind of power domination game and they begin fighting you or being abusive claiming they "can't reach their arm out anymore" which is a complete lie....because i've witnessed them reach their arms out even further to hand things to people who have no health conditions or problems, but since somenoe is expressing they have a problem reaching their arm out, instead of being courteous and normal and giving it to them they begin fighting them.
The sociopaths at this mcdonald's though have gotten really bad, and the worst part is there is no management to complain to. Every freak who works there-- seemingly some rude crazy juvenile delinquent teenage drop out with no manners lies and claims to be the 'manager'. So recently I went to get a drink and since they all seem to know you have a problem, the 'african american" bitc...begins arguing with me claiming "I can't reach my arm otu" of course she's lying and I had to fight and argue with this psychopath for minutes on end....extremely draining and horrific even worse....I asked her several times to get someone else-- the sociopath begins yelling claiming she's the 'tallest' one and there's no one else there--she is fighting and arguing and attempting to coerce me to reach my arm out more...---the sociopaths that work at this location discriminate extremely against people with health conditions for unnecessary reasons, fight and argue with them...lie to them, and try to force people to do things that would be painful for them to do.....this is so unfair and to me should be considered not legal for restaurant employees to get away with doing....not only not doing their job but harassing customers wh are requesting their items be handed to them maybe 2 inches more than usual....she said to me "u can reach out more" and argued for a long time....the people that work there are ill mannered sick and crazy and are in the category of psychopathic by all means- they seem to have no conscience morals and like to pick on people and abuse them and fight with them for no reason except they are sick in the head and they also get away with it- they do it for fun too like teenagers playing pranks on people and once they 'know you have aproblem' they will continue doing this to you with no remorse or care, and do it as much as htey can and think it's a joke-- ....there is also no manager to talk to or complain to and every whackjob you talk to there lies and claims to be the manager.
Even worse I called after my horrible experience to talk to someone-- I ended up speakign to the same sick b*tch... who fought and argued with me and she gave me an 800 number...the 800 number was a number to an xxx hotline.....the freaks in that general 'ucf area' seem to be a lot of no class un or ill educated no manner freaks who have the civil skills of babboons or worse....not only are these people rude and abusive they are liars and abuse and fight people with health conditions rather than doing their jobs....anyone with any kind of health condition beware of mcdonald's employees especially at this location....the items they also served were old and bad, so customers have to endure abuse, confrontation, and get ripped off all at the same time...

Helpful info from an unlikely source

First of all I am insulted that you seem to think those of us on night shift are high school drop outs etc. I don't work for this McDonald's, however I do work for A McDonald's in another state. Secondly, insulting people doesn't work. Here is some information you should know:
Each McDonald's is either a corporate store or franchise. Corporate stores are owned by McDonald's themselves, however these stores are a dying breed, very few are left. Most McDonald's today are franchises. The last 2 of them I have worked at are both franchises. If these people treat you that badly, then find out what franchise they are operated under and complain. If this doesn't work contact the corporate office by calling 1-800-244-
In your report you state everyone you talk to claims they are a manager they're lying etc. Managers have very distinct shirts they wear different from crew members. Crew is required to wear the standard red shirt, crew trainers have a blue shirt that looks similar to the red one. If anyone you talk to states they are a manager and they are wearing this uniform, they are not telling you the truth. And for that matter, the store manager never works night shift at any of their stores EXCEPT when inventory is done, they are short handed, or the manager scheduled for that shift called in and they do not have a replacement.
Lastly, I fully understand your anger at this McDonald's, however, one way to make a situation better is by not making it worse. You should go speak to the manager in the day time when they are actually at the location. Store managers usually come in between 6 am and 9 am and leave around 3 pm to 6 pm depending on when they came in etc.
I hope that this information helps aid you, and again I do feel bad this experience happened because I know all too well about Fibro: my adopted mom has it. I know these people are in the wrong for what they have done, but when you speak to the store manager, kill them with kindness, instead of insulting his/her staff. It may work better in your favor to remedy the entire situation.

Brownsong,
When you write that everyone, bums and presidents alike, needs to be treated with respect, you seem to be implying that I think it is all right to treat someone poorly based upon his disabilities, his level of education, or his position in life.
I don't think this way at all. I was pointing out to the original poster that his writing skills in no way indicate that he is more educated than a stereotypical McDonald's employee. It is just silly for someone to make snide remarks about others' cognitive abilities when that same individual doesn't know how to write coherent sentences. The pot is calling the kettle black!
With regards to educated individuals working in the food-service industry, they may be few and far between, but there are educated people working in all kinds of industries for a number of reasons. I refer you to the first response to the original post, as well as my last response on this thread. It is presumptuous of the original poster to assume that the young lady serving him his meals is a dropout simply because she works at McDonald's and treats him curtly.
Before you talk to me about horrible treatment, I think you need to read the original post more carefully. The original poster uses such terms as "schmuck" (Hebrew for "p***k"), "sociopaths", "freaks", and "African-American b***h" (the string of periods doesn't negate the use of the word). If anyone on this thread deserves one of your lectures about elitism and treating others kindly, it certainly is not me. It is the original poster.
Finally, I wouldn't reach my arm far into a man's car, and I would guess (this is just my guess) that employees are instructed during training not to reach far into customers' cars for their own safety. Not that it's any of my business, but I'd really like to know what this disability is. I think the original poster omits some pretty important details, and I am skeptical of the accuracy of this entire account. Something smells fishy, and it isn't a fish fillet! ;)
Nice try, Brownsong.

Here's why the harsh rebuttals
AUTHOR: Tim - (U.S.A.)
SUBMITTED: Friday, February 12, 2010
Brownsong,
Apparently you are unfamiliar with the history of the OP.
She has been posting complaints for years, under several different user names, against basically every service business in the greater Orlando area.
To buy into these complaints you would have to believe that every restaurant employee in Orlando is an uneducated psychopath with a superiority complex, and that the OP is a patient and respectful customer through and through.
So the rebuttals are harsh because RoR regulars are quite familiar with this poster. We concluded long ago that the problem lies with her, not the victims of her horribly unstable and irrational personality.

You have been treated horribly by these people and have every right to be angry. I can't understand the lack of understanding by the rebuttals. If I were working the drive through, I would have gone outside to give you your food. That's just plain old common sense. You are a paying customer. And I would have fired all the psycho's and started with new staff, training them properly. And it is nobody's business if you want to go through the drive through for a drink. That is your prerogative. Many people have disabilities that are not taken seriously by those who don't suffer from them. One day these youngsters will feel things like back pain and such and will see what it is like to be treated like crap. It's called karma. And education, or lack of it, has nothing to do with anything. Just because a pretentious, self-serving snob is working his or her way through medical school (which is a crock of baloney, because they wouldn't want that on their resume upon graduation, they should be working in the medical field-duh) it doesn't give him or her the right to treat someone like crap. It doesn't matter if the customer is a homeless bum or the president. If they are human, they should be treated with kindness.
You should video tape them and call corporate offices and send them the tape. Or better yet, get the documentation you need and sue. I would.

English Grammar

Judging by the dangling participles in your report, the digitized numbers (single-digit numbers should be spelled out), compound adjectives that lack hyphens, and other blatant grammatical errors, I would say that you too failed to graduate high school.
For all you know, a McDonald's employee is working his way through medical school by serving you value meals. I am currently working on a cash register to help pay for graduate school. For that reason, you should watch your remarks.
You're right, though: nothing can be done, as nobody can mimic that special sauce. Nice try, though :)

It never ceases to amaze me how some people just don't get it. I had something similar to the hand grabbing thing happen to me once and you know what happened?? I NEVER went back. I don't care that it is the only Dairy Queen within 45 miles.
Why would you continuously return to a location you are allegedly abused and mis treated at.
I'm sorry but NOTHING McDonald's serves is worth even a fraction of what you claim you have been through.
I can't fault you for going to the drive through for a drink. I do the same thing due to health reasons. But you complain and complain about how you are treated and yet you CHOOSE to return for more abuse. It sounds to me like some part of you craves the attention/abuse you receive.
I am not familiar with your town, but I live in a small town with less then 2,000 people and we have TWO McDonald's. Is this the only place in your town to get a drink?
Anyway, I think your report is utterly ridiculous since it is obvious you know this type of thing occurs and yet you continue to return to that location.
All I can say is "sheesh, some people."

It amazes me how many people will go through a drive thru for a DRINK. It's a drink - why can't you go to a convenience store or grocery store for that?! Are you incapacitated & can't get out of your car? If you can't reach, why would even bother using the drive through? If the people are really THAT bad, why do you keep going back, OVER & OVER & OVER again? Do you really think they have made a note of your physical problem & are out to get you? It sounds like you are bitter & paranoid & would rather complain than use common sense & stop using the drive thru. Wow.

more nasty abusive women at this location

it should be considered assault and illegal for these low class angry mcdonalds nutcase employees to be able to lay any form of their hand on a customer in any way- But it isn't. but if you go through a drive thru- someone can grab your money from you in a harsh and aggressive way and even grab your hand if they like forcefully and cause you pain in some form. I go through this drive thru at night again, and there always seems to be an abusive mean angry and nasty african american female working at either of the windows, who will either fight or literally assault in some form a customer. This has now occurred 3 times with an african american female and three different ones. I went to the drive thru window, and as I was giving my change, the nasty and mean girl at the window, was apparently 'angry' for no reason and rudely snatched my dollar from me. Though that was rude it was not a big deal. As I handed her my change, with the same malevolent attitude she grabs my change while grabbing my hand as well angrily with it forcefully and causing me yes pain in my fingers. Having Fibromyalgia, this is a huge problem not just because of that but in general for any stranger to think they can squeeze your hand or touch you in any form, especially intentionally and aggressively. Is it fair or right or even legal, for customers to have to go through a drive through and leave in pain in some form because the employees are angry jealous whackjobs who can't control themselves and have a need to abuse people for no reason....This seems to be the case a lot with females who have bad attitudes towards other females or even attractive women who they may be jealous of in some form or catty towards. The african american wench who thinks she can injure customers along with deliver the rudest attitude possible seemed to have gotten away with what I consider assault in some form. It's one thing if you'er taking change from someone and your hand touches theirs, but someone forcefully grabbing your fingers out of unjustified anger and abuse....that is sick and trash like this gets away with doing that to people. there was no reason for the psycho female to have any anger towards any random csutomer driving through and giving them money...and no reason for these sick disturbed people to be allowed to treat any customer or human being in this way or abuse them in this form. Why does mcdonald's always seem to hire the rudest nastiest most incompetent scum and trash you can find ever--not only people with no CSR skills not even with neutral attitudes or even rude attitudes but with people who think it's ok to abuse customers or people- especially the scumbags at this location.

This person CLAIMS to have problems every where she goes.
No matter what store or restaurant - she claims to be treated terribly by innocent people who are only doing their jobs.
Instead of looking at what SHE is doing wrong - she blames everyone else for her unhappiness.

Avoid the drive thru

It seems that some of your problem is the result of a healthy concern of the McDonald's workers not having to reach too far into your vehicle. I'd be a bit leary too. What if you were some kind of pyscho that got his jolly's off and hit the acceleratored while the employee's arm was in your vehicle. I'm just saying......
All kidding aside, I think you need to avoid the drive thru and walk in. Do yourself a favor. And by the way, lose the racist attitude. My niece works at McDonalds and it's hard work. She's putting herself through law school while she's doing it. It is a low paying job and dehumanizing when people like you refer to the employees in such degeratory terms. By the way, what are you doing with your life? Working the greeter door at Wal-Mart? That makes you so much better.
Keep smiling. Love everyone. Karma rules.
