I got on here and searched under Mcdonald's to see what people are saying, not to "defend mcdonalds". I don't think you should talk about employees like that. We do not "do nothing but play games online". We work hard, harder than some higher paid employees. Please do not write libellious stuff about employees.

Thanks Danny!
In my 49 years of married life, I have suffered very similar afflictions on rare occasions such as as you describe.(VERY BAD diarrhea, cramps, my stomach hurts very much.)The onset of these symptoms following food exclusively prepared by my wife, however quite sporadically.
(good 'ol home cookin')
.
It never occurred to me my mysery could be the result of my wife's meal preparation. Holy cow! How could I have ever missed such an obvious connection?.
.
Wow! How the overlooked obvious can be brought to light on the Rip-Off report.

I get so sick of hearing people spout off about it taking 12-48 hours for symptoms of a foodborne illnes to arise. This is untrue. There are three types of foodborne illnesses - biological (bacterial/viral), physical (foreign object), and chemical. Of course it takes hours or days for a bacteria to grow to the point of causing a bodily reaction, however in the case of chemical contamination, it can happen in seconds. Those nuggets could have come in contact with a number of chemicals at any point during their production or preparation. Most industrial strength cleaning solutions are potent enough to cause cramping, vomitting or diahrea. One of the employees could have sprayed a degreaser a little too close to the nuggets. there are a million ways it could happen. People need to educate themselves before they go calling someone a liar (stacey) or acting superior and providing retarded legal advice (timothy).

Good Luck food contaminated with certain types of bacteria

Food poisoning can occur when a person eats or drinks food contaminated with certain types of bacteria, viruses, or parasites. Food can be contaminated during processing, cultivation, and handling, or through dirt, dust, and water found in the environment.
Food poisoning causes symptoms of nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, and diarrhea, usually within 48 hours of eating the contaminated food. The symptoms of food poisoning are often caused by chemicals (toxins) released by the infecting bacteria. Food poisoning may spread if a person comes into contact with stool from an infected person
So I do not think your claim is valid - I am not a doctor but I have talked to a doctor about this -
Good luck for you will not get a penny

Don't waste your time with lawyers. Food-borne illnesses require several hours of propagation before you will begin showing symtpoms. I believe it can take up to 48 hours. Your illness could have been caused by a breakfast from two days before.
Not only is it highly unlikely that your illness came from McDonald's but, even if it did, you would have a mighty hard time proving it. Did you call the health dept. right away so they could investigate the samitation conditions? Have other people come forward with the same complaint?
It's not enough for you to show that you got sick and that you ate at McDonald's. You need the causation, and you don't have it.
I would suggest asking your doctor how long it would take, at a minimum, for your illness to have shown up after you ate.

In most instances if you ingest bacteria while eating it is several hours before you begin to show signs of food poisoning. The sickness you experienced can probably be traced back to the meal you ate the night before or food prior to going to bed.
Poor food handling procedures can result in making you sick and it can happen at home as well as McDonalds or any other place that serves food. You may be surprised of just how easy it is for food to become contaminated to the point of being a danger to eat.
Is it possible that you are sick because of an ordinary stomach flu? The symptoms mimic food poisoning and may be what you are experiencing.
I am not a doctor but I feel certain that a doctor would agree that it takes longer than 5-10 minutes after eating to cause sickness due to food poisoning or from food that you had just ingested.
I hope you are feeling well now or will be well soon.
