MCE Technologies Charged me for an order I had cancelled! 499$. Sales representative confirmed order was cancelled after I was charged!! Irvine California

Had ordered Blue Ray burner with this company for MAC. Ordered on Friday (Sept 26 2008). Informed Rep (Rich) that I needed the product before the following Friday (Oct 3 2008) and would like to order only if I get it by then. Was told by rep that would not be a problem as they are getting a shipment over weekend. Did not get any email or confirmation from them till Wednesday.

Called them on Wednesday. They mentioned that the shipment they received was pre-allocated to people who had placed the order before me but was told not to worry as they were going to receive 1 more shipment on Wednesday. Waited till Thursday but did not get any shipment notification. Called them again.

Rep named Benjamin mentioned he did not see any details about my order stating I needed it by Friday and mentioned that I would receive it after 4-6 weeks. I requested to talk to Rich but was told that he was not in. I called back and some other rep mentioned Rich was not in. But he mentioned that my order was about to ship out and not needed to worry. I asked for tracking # and was told to keep any eye for email in 1/2 hour.

Waited for 3 hours. No email. Called them back. I spoke to Rich (surprisingly i was told that he was not the rich I had placed order with but another Rich!!) and he mentioned that previous rep had given incorrect info. I will not be receiving my shipment for 4-6 weeks. Getting frustrated, I told them to cancel my order. I was told that "Ok.. your order is cancelled".

Next thing I know, I was charged $499 on the same day the order was cancelled. I have called them almost 6-7 times about this. Everytime, I get the info.. no one is available in the accounting department. I need to contact the owner "Arnie Ramirez" (who is never available!!!) to get the refund. They cannot do anything about it.!! I am convinced that this company is nothing but SCAM!!!
