mediazenn.com Fraudulent billing charges

I searched for a text book and arrived at this site (mediazenn.com) claiming to have it.

I signed up for a Free Trial, saw that not only did they not have the book, they had didn't even have any books in the same field, so I canceled the trial after exactly 3 minutes.

Fortunately I saved screenshots of both my sign up and cancellation as I thought this site might not be legit, so I documented exactly what transpired.

Today I checked my credit card statement and found a $2.99 charge from them.

I phoned mediazenn.com (spoke to Kim Dolan id#480049720466) and was told I must have hit the 'upgrade trial' button.

Yeah right!  Nice try! Complete fraud!  I asked to speak to a manager but was told she wasn't available.

Googling around (yes, I should have done this before I entered my cc info), I see that this is a known fraudulent site.

Why does it still exist ?  Why have authorities not cracked down ?!
