Medical Alert Buyers Alliance Glen Chumley takes your money and leaves elderly without protection Odenton, Maryland

I purchased a medical alert transmitter for my 91 year old mother with a heart condition.  In 2010 Glen Chumley transfered the monitering from American Two Way in California to Alarm Watch in Maryland.  American Two Way said he was not paying his bills.  Glen said American Two Way was not monitering proberly with trained people.  I now believe American Two Way. 

In late December 2010 my mothers pendent transmitter's battery died and they said they would sent another.  They never did.  When I returned in April my mother again told me the pendent transmitter was still not working and she had never received the replacement as promised.  I verified this with the monitering agency. 

I then called Glen Chumley at 888-633-4253 and 443-822-8924 and left messages.  The monitering service called also.  After 3 days of calling a fellow named Mark called my mother, said they had sent a pendent in December but would send another immediately.  They never did.

I called both numbers almost every day for over two weeks and left messages and sent emails.  They never responded.  I finally had to contact a local vendor and get another pendent.

Bottom line is Glen Chumley and Medical Alert Buyers Alliance promises things and does not follow through.  This leaves old people with medical problems at risk.  I wonder how he would feel if it were his mother or father? 

I would not recommend doing business with him or his company under any circumstances.  Just look at the complaints on the internet.  They are true.
