I ordered Monistat cool wipes gelstripes based on the description and photo of the product listed on the medichest website. I was sent a notice that the item was backordered after I placed my order. The ordering system made it appear as if this site actually had stock. I could have and should have gone to Amazon.com where they honestly stated they would have to back order the product. This site mislead me from the start. After two weeks I was sent a tracking number through UPS that stated the order had been shipped. When I received the order I immediately realized that this was not the product. I called Johnson and Johnson the original manufacturer and was told that they didn't make this product anymore and that I should check the expiration date on the boxes. There was no expiration date on the product. I then called medichest where a confrontational female insisted that they did not manufacture products and therefore I should accept this product. She became belligerent and began telling me that I was disrespecting her in an inane attempt to use reverse psychology. I asked to speak to her superior and she screamed that she was the sole boss. I then returned the product and called my bank to file a claim. I now will begin to alert other consumers about the unfair tactics employed by this company. These types of internet experiences hurt overall sales on the net.

False Report By Raphael

AUTHOR: Joshua Barke - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, June 03, 2009

Raphael,
Once again you are lying. Once again, you are placing yourself very close to slander and or liable. Your order was shipped exactly 6 days after you placed it. Your card was charged AFTER your order was shipped. There is no expiration date on the product, and there never has been. You were sent a UPS tracking label exactly 6 days after you placed your order. "IF" the J&J folks told you the product is no longer made, why then does it appear on their own website? We already spoke with you, Sir, and you did not mention that anyone "yelled" at you, but rather you referred to the person's ethnicity in order to identify her, or to somehow explain your own stupidity. Either way, you are now making false statements. You are an attorney? Where did you go to law school? You did not return the product as of 6/3/09. You asked that your bank refund your money, but you did not return the product. The product you received IS the product you ordered. The NDC/UPC match EXACTLY and you know this. The word Gelstripes no longer is printed on the carton. Images and descriptions change from week to week in this and every industry. THE PRODUCT'S FORMULA IS IDENTICAL AND ANY CLAIMS TO THE CONTRARY ARE A LIE ON YOUR PART. When you spend this much time telling others that they have somehow lied to you, you should also consider that you are a fraud. You cannot keep $150.00 worth of product and still request a chargeback. You accused us of shipping counterfeit product to you. You are a fraud. Honest people that read your false reports should know what a LIAR you are, Sir. The product you ordered IS the product you received but somehow you are truly too blind to understand that the slight package change which does not include the word GELSTRIPES is also not counterfeit. You, Sir are the only thing that is counterfeit. You, Sir, will need to answer to your false claims and slanderous writings in a Court of Law. In the meantime, could we please have our product back? Thanks and lots of luck with your tirades and racial bigotry. You must be swell to live with. Of the 300+ orders we shipped containing this IDENTICAL product, you are the only individual who has an issue. Again, this IS the product you ordered. The individual you mention in your false report never yelled or otherwise tried to "boss" you in using any tricks. She explained the matter to you in a most professional and courtesy-filled way. To suggest that her ethnicity has something to do with your order is outrageous. This nation fought those battles a very long time ago, Sir and we care not go back to those darker times. Please take your future business to another store. Your business is not wanted at our organization. Good night and good luck to you, Sir.
