MEGA LIFE & HEALTH INSURANCE MISREPRESENTATION OF BENEFITS COVERAGE ripoff SAN CARLOS California

When I became an independent contractor I was looking for a reasonable health coverage where I could see any doctor at any time including emergency room.

Upon signing up with Mega Life & Health Insurance, I chose the $2500 deductible w/ a mo. premium of $217.00 per month where I could see any doctor w/in their network. Unfortunately when I was admitted to the Emergency Room w/ breathing problems.

I found out 4 months after my emergency room visit that none of the procedures or treatments was covered by Mega Life & Health because I was not in an "accident". NASE markets "discounted" insurance - so tell me how paying my mo. premium, plus deductible, plus 100% of my perscription a "discount" when all is said in done, I've come $5,400 out of pocket. My total discount for the visits I've had to date was only $200.00.
