Mercedes Home Charlotte, NC Poor Quality Construction And Customer Service Refuses to accept building mistake Charlotte North Carolina

Since we moved in our house in 2005, we have asked Mercedes Homes to figure out where and why our water bill is triple our neighbors. We have had wet soil around our house, even during the 15 months drought that scorched our state in 2007 and 2008. Over the weekend, I found a pool of water in my side yard. After having the sprinkler contractor come out and confirm it was not the sprinkler system we found water seeping out into the yard from the foundation of the home.

We constantly have standing water just below the surface, 1-2" in the front of our house, the entire perimeter of the foundation is always damp. This is a major problem that we have reported to them for 3 years now only to be told, "you are just using too much water...." Buyer beware

I am probably going to have to pay for finding and correcting this issue and then I am going to retain a lawyer to research my options and get this issue resolved.
