Merchant Services Protection Plan Legal Club Of America Deducted $29.95 a month from my checking account without my approval. Sunrise, Florida

In reviewing my business checking account I discovered a monthly electronic charge for $29.95 listed as MSPP 8005112896 - MerchSrvcs.  The number is their toll free line.  I called to find out what the charge was about and the very nice agent told me that my company had enrolled a year ago for their services. Since we are a mom and pop operation I know neither of us approved this enrollement.  Furthermore the agent said that we were sent a welcome package.  Neither of us saw that either.  I told the agent to cancel the service and credit my account.  All she would agree to is one month's worth.  When asked how her company was given access to my checking account she said it was through their association with Discover Services.  I am going to contact Discover and ask them why they would do this.  If Discover is not cooperative I am going to cancel their service and no longer accept their credit cards at my store.  I am also going to file a report with the Florida Attorney General's Office where MSPP's parent company is located.  In reading reports from other customers on this site it appears that this company has a history of this kind of practice.  They employ foreign based telemarketers to call and solicit their service without thorough explanations.  Shame on me for not catching this charge sooner and shame on Discover if they gave them my banking data.
